3D/4D ultrasound

Hi

anyone know where one can have a 4d ultrasound in the zurich area?

Thanks

Tanya

Tanya my Gyne had the option to flick a switch on his ultra sound to see in 3D/4D

Anyway tut tut Mrs! You'll see far too much on a 3D/4D hope you ain't going back on your word?

Hi Tanya,

My doctor Dr med Ivrea Florio (Streulistrassee 19, 8032) Does 3D scans, not sure about 4D though?

We dont want to know the sex of our baby so she just showed us the face, it was so clear, we got a photo also.

Good luck with everything!

Hi there

anyone know anyone who does above?

Thanks

Tanya

Unfortunately not - we got the impression it is not very common here. Perhaps since it probably does not add medical value??

(I do know an excellent place in Johannesburg though )

thanks I am from SA too and had one in CT in June but would love to have one now.. oh well.. 10 more weeks to wait for the real thing

no definitely not an MRI.. that is competely different - 3d ultrasound is like a normal ultrasound you have in pregnancy but it is in more detail..

You asked the same question back in May. Didn't you like the answer that was given then ??

3D/4D ultrasound

My gyno has amazing equipment and does 3/4D scans only. Dr. A. Rake in 8006 Zurich

because there were no specialists in zurich that offered just the 4d ultrasound.. these offer it if you are their patients.. apologies for asking again.. just thought maybe there would be some new answers.. there is a company called echo baby in Lausanne and was hoping to find somewhere similar in zurich http://www.echobaby.ch

why so much hostility on this forum??? wont be posting questions again!

We had ours at the Frauenklinik at the Unispital in ZH. My pregnancy was high risk though so I think that was the only reason why it was done. If you & your baby are healthy the krankenkasse probably won't cover it.

wow thats a nice answer - thanks so much Lisa...

Shame you feel this way but see where you are coming from! Your question made complete sense to me, and seriously someone actually has the time and inclination to find your post from May??!! Makes me rather wary to ask questions too, obviously some people have far too much time on their hands!

SOME OF US use the famous search function rather than always depending on the generosity of others. Especially, if we have taken the time in the past to answer the SAME question.

It burns some of us who go to the effort of answering questions and someone does not have the thought / decency to refer back to the same question she asked three months ago and RE-FORMULATE it so it explains what she really wants. Shouldn't be too hard, but obviously it is for some people.

It is usually a good idea to use the search option in this forum. We are all nice people here, but when a question is asked over and over again during the years, members loose their patience.

Verbier does have a point Tanya... You asked the same thing in May, two people answered and you didn't even give a thanks... That might explain some of the hostility. If the answers don't help you for whatever reason, just try to be more precise. If people do not understand your doubts, it is impossible to help you in more detail!

In any case, good luck with your pregnancy and hope you find what you are looking for!

seems like some people have way too much time on their hands.. monitoring old posts.. this will be my last post on this forum.. apologies for asking a question.. that I actually got a answer for now that I never got before... I certainly wont post again.. perhaps those people who get offended by such mediocrity dont have better things to do... such a shame... wont refer anyone here in future..

so so sorry to have wasted time here..

dont answer if you dont have an answer.. simple

but yet you take the time and effort to write a long note moaning about my post.. clearly you both have too much time... this has made me so mad... my time here is over.. will be cancelling my account... so much for others helping others..

Mod hat on: As far as possible, we like to keep down the number of Threads on any single subject as it is quicker and easier for someone searching to skim through one thread to see if it contains the info he needs, than open four (as in this case) to see if any of them are helpful.

I, for one, am grateful when members search and give links to similar threads and I, too, am irritated when a single person starts two threads on exactly the same subject.

I've now merged all four...

i never got an answer from Lisa2011 previously with her referral which I will now use... so how do we get up to date information if we have to look at posts from 2008.. I did not mean to "irritate" anyone.. however I cannot believe how something so small has been made into a mole hill

Longbyt - please cancel my EF account. I will no longer be making use of it in future as I would be to scared too post and dont want to have to rely on information from a few years ago.. thank you

Tanya, calm down, take a deep breath and relax. No one here is attacking you. We are trying to turn you into the good direction. By showing you the search function, people are trying to show you the possibility for a lot of answers that might show up during your pregnancy.

Do please calm down, and take a look at both the answers here presented, and the search funtion. I am sure you will find very useful information. Your account cannot be deleted, though you can just forget about it and never log in again. It would be a pity, though, since a lot of information about pregnancy and useful tips for children have been posted before.

You really have to stop thinking people are out to get you...
