I found this of particular interest:
Next thing I know, they wrote back thanking me for offering to help them and asked me to proofread their new letter!! Of course, they ended their letter saying God would bless me for my services.
I didn't reply.
I just love the ones that say that I have lost a distant Aunt in Africa.
Those ones are hardest because I was always kinda close to my Aunts Babafunmike, Nabukwasi, Jahia, Tabasamu, Vaughnita, Patanisha, Gbodi, Dafina, Machupa, Xinavne, Ebelechukwu..... et al
My goodness did my family do a lot of reproducing on a continent they never came nor visited....
But to make matters worse!!! When I send off a all the information they need and the covering funds.
THEY NEVER WRITE!!!! THEY NEVER CALL!!!!
Families Eh!!!! Who needs them!!!!
enjoy

My final responce
anyway I'd love to waste a bit more of your time, but I can't be bothered if you have anymore fake id's please send them.
Here's my rating
Terry Woodgate Scam
Initial email - 1/10 poor effort, can't see anyone falling for this one
Fake Id's - .5/10 even ms paint could have knocked up a more convincing id (using the same pic for the id and passport, come on!!) along with the missing stamps, the badly changed dates and wrong fonts on the changes, really, my dog could have done better, and don't even get me started on the lottery id.
use of english - what can I say? even a lost tribe in deepest darkest peru could have seen that english wasn't your first language (probably not even your second)
Overall
could try harder, in fact should have tried even just a little bit
comments
If anyone falls for this one then they deserve to lose there money
That's some impressively bad forgery, though, innit?!
I get loads on this email address anyway, as another forum I'm on displays your address.
They have competitions to see how far they can get the scammer to travel to collect his "deposit" .... some have gone as far as several countries.
I know in the uk they had some scammers come to meetings and they would take pictures of them.
also check out the pictures of 419 scammers having to hold signs up to prove they are legit ... signs saying things like "I'm a big homo" etc. ridiculous stuff
In the past I've strung them along like this, never managed to get any to take silly pics though
I like the one where one guy actually got the scammers to send him money so he could send them money
They F-up the business of so many websites and their respective owners.
I have gathered some of the examples on my site already, warning people not to engage in them..you think they look at it ??
Yet some mofo decided to get in contact with one of them " surely its not a scam, the guy said he is now in Nigeria for his work but lives local in my area ( UK) ( yes and santa claus is real too..)
So said customer gave the details of where the boat was stored etc and when he could come and see it.
2 days later i get an email from the muppet ( excuses my lingo but how stupid do you have to be) to say his boat and trailer are stolen ! he would personally take care that i was held responsabile for the theft.
The listing in question was a free listing, i don't take any commision on boats as that makes me liable.. second of all, the scammer used my site to get in contact with him, i did not tell the scammer to attack my customers..and surely i didn't advise the seller to get back in contact with him!
and last but not least, its his own fault for giving the details of where he kept the boat..
Thankfully he came to the conclusion that it was his fault and ended up appologising for his angry email and phonecall.
Any scammer out there emails randomly 100 people an hour..and he damn well knows there is always one sucker out there that will give him what he wants..money, car's or boats and horses..
After i started the " scam and fraud " tab on my site, i got a call from someone else in the Uk, reporting this has happend to him with his horse and trailer..same story, same guy..
Most of the times, scammers are very easy to spot.. here is an example :
Dear Sir,
Our client is interested in buying your BOAT for sale, posted on the advert for sale, which is €26,500. i will like to know the present working condition of the and your final price if its still available for sale.I await your prompt response.
Notice how the scammer has an automated system, the subject of what is sold is always in capital and sometimes bold.
Here is another one ..*Fail* on scammer behalf..
Hi, Thanks for your quick response,i will be offering you 50 euros for the
postage cost via Register Mail International Signed For, to my Friend who
has just been posted to Africa (Nigeria) on a training course as a New Year
gift as am on leave to Asia soon and won't be able to receive the item here
in UK.. do get back to me with the total cost and your pay pal e-mail so i
can make payment straight away
Thanks you for your help and support.
God Bless You.
The subject in case was a 4 ton boat.. not sure if 50 euro will cover the charge..and i am not sure if Postman Pat can tow a trailer behind his van
Here are a few things to keep in mind :
- Do NEVER give your personal and bank details to anyone unless you have met the buyer and agreed the price
- Only sell FACE TO FACE
- Do NOT accept payment over the requested price
- Do NOT accept money wired by bogus bank draft, Cheque or Western Union.
- Never provide your personal or banking information (e.g. credit card number) to others over the Internet.
- Use your common sense. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably will be
- Do NOT include your email address in the actual advertisement, use our email form that does not show your email to the public
If people would only read it..it would save me allot of trouble..
So far my rant and advice on scammers..
Hello Friend
My name is Valentin, I am a student and I write you from little Russian
city.
I found several addresses on Internet and I decided to send you this letter.
Our local library give free Internet access for students.
I live with my mother, she cannot see since many years and I take care of
her. My father left our family when I was a child.
I work very hard every day, but because of deep financial crisis my salary
is very little and not even enough for the things of primary necessity.
Because of extremally hot weather during this summer most of the potatoes
and vegetables get withered in our garden. A lot of forests burned.
We were forced to spend all our small savings to buy something to eat for
the comign winter to avoid starvation.
Electricity and gas is very expensive in our region and we can not afford to
heat our home anymore.
The only way to heat our home in winter is to use portable oven which heat
with burning wood. We have wood savings in our shed and this oven would heat
our home all the winter, at no cost to us.
Unfortunately, we can not buy such oven as our local market, because the
value of it 8,300 rubles, and is a great amount for us (the equivalent of
197 Euro).
I decided to appeal to you and I hope you can help us. If you own any old
portable oven and if not using anymore, I'll be very grateful if you can
donate it for us and organize transport of this oven to us (we live 200 km
from Moscow). These ovens are different, usually made of cast iron and weigh
about 100kg.
Please let me know if you can help and I will write you our home address.
You can post out money to us or cheque and I will be gratefull
If you cannot help with the stove or money, may be you can send two old sleeping
bags- we will be sleeping inside of them during the nights and we will not
freeze.
If you need, I can send medical documents about the disease of my mother.
I send you best wishes from Russia,
Valentin and my mother.
