Advice for kita in Zurich Oerlikon

Hi,

We would like to have some recommendation for kita/kindergarden in Zurich Oerlikon. We would like a safe, caring, and fun place for our kid (~7 months). It is important for us to be able to communicate with the caregiver in English as we don't really understand/speak German.

At the moment, we are considering these options:

Kinderhaus-plus ZuriNord Allegra (Max Bill platz) Schnappi Mariakafer Windradli Sternenstaub Globegarden (Elias Canetti) Kita Kaferberg

However some negative online comments for some of these kitas are bugging us. For instance, the staff members in Globegarden has rated it very poorly (showing dissatisfaction towards the administration that resulting in generally young and constantly changing staff members). We also saw negative comments in another thread in Englishforum about Globegarden...

Has anyone sent their kids to any of these kitas? Do you suggest any other kita? Any experience would be appreciated.

I don't know which part of Oerlikon you live is, but if you're willing to stretch to Wipkingen, you should give Kiddieland a look. We've been there with our young son for a year now since we used to live near Radiostudio and we have been happy enough to not change him despite us moving and commute to the kita is a pain. He also went at about 7-8mo old, so same situation with you.

It's bilingual, pretty much all caregivers speak English, and management definitely speaks English.
