So I went to take the MFK test today, everything was good except for 3 small things.
1) The back left seat belt was reversed
2) The back seat was not locked correctly
3) The cap on the water reservoir was open
After the test the examiner told me to go to a garage and fix these things (he gave me a paper which had these points crossed).
He also stamped my fahrzeugausweis and when I asked him when to do the next test, he told me in 2 years.
After I drove back home, I clicked the cap on the water reservoir and put the seat belt in the right position ( I couldn't lock the seats though).
Now, is my MFK valid (if he stamped it) should I receive a new Fahrzeugausweis by post, or do I need to go to a garage and they will send this paper to them?
On the back side of the paper it is written that I have 30 days to fix the problems in a garage, but most of the "problems" I fixed it myself. Or is this paper more for information and I passed the test successfuly?

Then you passed it, I also had one thing to correct on my own after having passed MFK. If you corrected mentioned things - that's it.
Sounds like you are OK then. I would just fix the rear seat and do a video of it working for peace of mind, in case you PX or sell the car one day before the next test or if someone hits you.
There are variations on this scheme, they are now letting owners/garages do smaller things without re-testing. I think this is to reduce the post COVID backlog. Either with the owner signing they will do it, or for more serious things an approved garage has fixed or checked it.
I forgot about my test then remembered the evening before so no time to fit new discs I bought. The car almost passed, brakes worked fine, headlamps out of alignment, plastic cover missing off rear wiper arm. My grey document wasn't stamped, and I was told to get the discs measured by a garage for thickness to check they were in spec, and get them to fix the other items, then get the garage to sign the car off as OK. Alternatively book another test with them. I fitted the new disks at home and the plastic cover on the wiper arm, and the local garage did the headlights, tested the car brakes, and filled in the paper all for 50chf, we sent the paperwork off and the grey logbook came back in the post stamped.
There are three levels how things have to be fixed, or rather what has to be done after it was fixed: You simply fix it your self. Nothing else has to be done. (Erledigung in Eigenverantwortung) After it was fixed, an approved garage must sign off, or you show it at the MFK. (Reperaturbestätigungs-Verfahren) After it was fixed you must show it at the MFK. (Neuer Termin)
Most issues are in the first category. If the in the last category, you would not have got the stamp.
For the first one you would have to sign on the Prüfbescheid that you fix it ASAP. For the other see the back on the Prüfbescheid. If you got the “Reperaturbestätigungs-Verfahren” marked, make an RBV appointment at an approved Garage ( www.agvs-zh.ch/rbv ) or with one of the MFK locations (telephone numbers on the top of the form). The MFK charges CHF 35 per 11 minutes. You must pass the RBV procedure within 30 days or you will get an new invite for a full MFK.
As the seats are still not secure, get the seats fixed, and than do the RBV procedure (might be all done at the same time at the same garage)
Nothing to do with COVID, been like that for decades.

In canton Zurich it is a new thing. It was introduced August 2021 . It very likely would also have been introduced w/o Covid as many other cantons have a similar procedure .
