Airport Transfer service for many luggage items

Hi,

We are landing in Zurich in couple of days, we are only 3 people with around 12 luggage items.

I tried on couple of sites but they offer maximum 8 Pax, 8 bags. I am not sure are we allowed to use spare seats to hold small bags. I am aware of SBB baggage service but they take bit longer to deliver then our need.

Can someone please help with best option to travel from Zurich airport to Buchs with this luggage.

You can try a Mobility transport van? Can seat 3 people and carry loads of cargo.

The drawback(s) may be that you may not be able to find one in the airport (but one of you may get out to find one around Zurich) and that at the end you need to return it to the same location... That may not be too bad as Buchs is not really too far. Or you can try a "OneWay" rental.

Otherwise rent a van from one of the airport rental companies.

I suggest you hire two vehicles.

Thanks, booking 2 cabs seems like good option.

Driving myself first time after landing is but risky.

Perhaps try airportzurich.taxi. A friend used their 7-seater recently, good/Ok service, not sure about the price. By default up to 7 bags, but with only 3 pax they may agree to fill the spare space with your other bags.

Can recommend www.toptransfer.ch . They have the option of booking bigger vans for luggage transport upto 8 pieces

I’ve also used connecto transfers a couple of times when I need to carry more people, and was always happy with car and driver.

If you’re flying Swiss, it’s offering a service to handle baggage and it seems like a decent deal. Haven’t tried it myself, but I would be inclined to do so next time we travel heavy.

Landed a few weeks ago - 2 people, 6 suitcases (including a marble table from India in a giant box).

We squeezed into a Vito. No issues.

I don’t think flying Swiss is a requirement.

A friend of mine used it recently and said it was brilliant and would use again. The porter schlepped the luggage up to the attic flat of the building (which doesn't have an elevator).

Finally arrived in Switzerland 😇❤️, took a mini van from swiss-taxi.com. They were prompt, driver was friendly and professional and helped us to get us and all of our luggage safely to Buchs!
