Went to Bar Rouge , great view. and pondered upon the sports bar the other day, its just like the sports bars in LA and even heard some english people talking.
I am nicely surprised that many of the Basel residents DO speak alittle english.

I've seen "the stuff" in Lörrach. That's right across the border from you in Germany. Nori seaweed can be found in the most grocery stores. Globus has good sushi rice, but overpriced. The asian stores have calrose rice. I don't know what the sauce is made of.

Acqua is nice nr to Kuppel, nice bar and also you hear a fair bit of english flying around in the there, can be a nightmare to get served though.

Oh, if you only knew. It is awesome. But best eaten near a beach, warm rays and the smell of cocoa butter suntan oil. It's a local thing.
