I bought it new 2014 and just had the 40,000 km service done on it. I have yet to have a problem with the bike. It has held up extraordinarily well and is really comfortable and capable.
I've had a couple of Hondas in the past and they were always good bikes. What you finally chose really depends on a few factors: price, features, availability, operating costs - and of course, what turns your head This last one is really important. When I moved to Switzerland I bought a Honda Transalp. Hondas are good, and many people raved about how great the Transalp is. I had the bike for a year. It was comfortable and performed well, but every time I saw it, I cringed slightly inside. It did not bring a smile to my face. So after giving myself a year to "fall in love", I instead traded it in for the BMW. THIS bike makes me smile like a teenager in love
Thank you! That friend is also my husband. We enjoy riding together, and is how we met, actually.
Nice review of the bike I have

I've a quickshifter and autoblipper on mine, so I only ever touch the clutch on standstill or low rpm shifts. The clutch is further out than normal as well to discourage you from using it.
