But then for women washing is a bit of a replacement therapy sometimes
The determination they show now will also apply to the remainder of the process. If it were about ordering spare parts the prediction would be reasonably precise, not "oh, uummm, well, maybe Monday, though perhaps Wednesday, but than again it maybe the week after. Not sure, we'll see. And if you keep pushing I'll be busy anyway.".
Exactly. That's why you want to give them some kind of outline without an actual prediction. The sooner that's done the stronger the tenant's position.
- I had reported it immediately as it was my wash day and it died mid-first-load...
- Management company owns it (apparently owner-dude's daughter lives downstairs from me - if SHE can't get them to get their butts in gear, then I have no chance other than pissing them off)
I can't imagine anyone in the building has their own washer as we have no room in the bathrooms and I see everyone's name on the list at different times (thank goodness we don't have set times, and no one has issues with people washing on Sundays)
We washed some stuff in the bathtub and dried it downstairs... hopefully will be fixed this week. I appreciate you all for sympathizing/giving advice.
Have a good week,
Katerina
So keep nagging them.
A german-speaking friend is going to ask the "housefrau" (sorry can't remember the official name) if there is going to be any compensation (rent deduction or something)... will update if they give us anything!
Take care,
Katerina
