In German search for "Tragetuch" - Didymos is a well-known brand here.
I wonder what research was done before anyone decided to market that baby carrier as "didymos." check: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0603161819.htm
I have been impressed with the number of babies I have seen in Basel, who are cuddled up to a parent, snug in a sling.
Sling libaries. I lived in the UK for over thirty years and don't know what that is. Has UK English evolved since I've been away. I barely understand this thread.
I'm sorry, I think the coat is a bit strange. It does look practical though.
I see lots of women wearing babywraps here. Or whatever you call them. People just seem to use strollers/prams in the States, but I started seeing many women wearing these when I moved over here.
I wish all the women would use them on trams because I'm that awkward person who feels like I'm going to drop your baby's wheels when I'm asked to lift a pram into a tram.
For a minute I was thinking of this...
in Zurich a lot of women carry their babies and toddlers, me being one of them.
There are carrying aides such as Beco, Ergo, "Tragetuch" (carrying towel), BB, Sling, RingSling, Manduca, Mai-Tai, Ombuhinmo, Bondolino...
numerous possibilities
I have a lovely DIDYMOS baby sling for sale if anyone interested. Details on attached link:
