Some of you will remember Atlas, Boston Dynamic’s experimental robot. The improved version, HD Atlas, actually manipulates stuff (quite unlike Elon’s counterpart). A brave new world indeed.
Well, Atlas got retired, say Hello to the new and improved All New Atlas.
Also, remember Spot, Atlas’ four-legged companion.
The farewell one had me howling! 
I know of a company that used a robot (more primitive than those from Boston) to inspect parts of a nuclear power plant in which humans could not enter due to radiation exposure.
The robot went in broke down straight away. It’s going to be about 15,000 years before it’s safe to repair it.
