I am an EU citizen living in Geneva and I have type-D CDL. My wife is a Non-EU citizen and currently has a CDL (as my dependant). I read on this form and a few other sources that, dependant family members of CDL holders may apply for a B-permit owing to AFMP.
Does anyone here have experience with their partners exchanging a dependant-CDL for a B-permit? Can you comment on how long the process of conversion takes? Also, can you confirm if your partner is allowed to work with the exchanged b-permit?
