Backpack for work/travel

I’m late to the party - but really anything from Briggs and Riley.

Find me any company that has the same warranty, and I’ll gladly consider them. I have a trolley and rucksack from them. Currently on my third trolley in 15 years- all covered free by their warranty. (the first was bought from amazon UK during the sales for £200 or so)

If airport handlers break it - they replace it
If you rip it - they replace it
If you damage it - they replace it
If the zippers die - they replace it
If the wheels wear our - they send you new wheels

No questions asked; their warranty is made to cover any damage (wear and tear included, accidental damage included, etc).

They aren’t cheap - but they pay for themselves over the years/decades… and are well thought out.

I’ve never actually used the warranty for anything as I assumed it was too much hassle.

It’s quite simple (in the UK at least), upload the receipt + pics of the damage. They issue a number by email and an address, you send the bag in, and a week later you get a shiny new bag back with an apology that they couldn’t repair the damage on the old one, so have instead sent you a new bag.

What you “lose” is customizations (e.g. the engraved name tag), as well as any souvenir stains you may have

Going to try the swiss process for the first time ever in 2 weeks - as that’ll be the first time I have a few weeks “calm” in CH and not travelling… (Reparatur Briggs&Riley – Koffer Doktor) and can report back if you want…
