Hi All,

would anyone know of a place where we could play Badminton indoors, for free or a small fee? I did find a YONEX club on google, but it's pretty expensive.

Do schools in Zurich allow outsiders to use their sports facilities in the evenings?

Free and zurich are not common bedfellows.

Apart from the Yonex place, there is the airgate in oerlikon and the vitis in schlieren but neither are cheap, although maybe cheaper during the daytime than the evening.

No badminton courts in Airgate that I know of - but I only play squash there ) There is a great badminton hall in Dubendorf. I have played there quite a few times - as long as you get off the edge courts, its great.

Hi guys,

I have a quick question to ask. Hopefully, somebody can share their experiences. We want to get some calories burned before the summer season!!

1. Anybody know the best place to rent a badminton court in the Zurich area (Wipkingen, Oerlikon area) - prefer a place where you don't have to reserve too long in advance and price is of course a factor as well

2. Same question as above, just for a squash court....-

Have you searched the Forum under Badminton Zürich? I think there are already a couple of Threads there and one of them might have something helpful in it. Your Thread is likely to get combined with one of them or put into 'duplicate questions' by the Mods as I am pretty sure the subject has been, at least in part, covered before.
