Darn I missed this post and actually maybe could have made it. We need to start an email group or Facebook group or something.
From what I saw yesterday evening, it's definitely better to reserve the court even after 8pm. Otherwise people who booked the slot 7-8pm just continue playing and it's pure luck to find a free court.
