best mobile phone tarif??

What's the cheapest mobile phone tarif? Went to swisscom yesterday. And nearly fell over when saw prices of things!!

I make calls abroad frequently from my mobile and I also make calls abroad when I outside switzerland. I also want mobile internet.

Can anyone recomend a good supplier?

Swisscom is generally the most expensive, but has the best serive/coverage in Switzerland. If you travel outside of Switzerland, ask each operator if they have special packages for that. I know Orange has one especially for people who commute between France and Switzerland. Sunrise and Swisscom probably have similar packages. Check their websites or stop in their shops and ask.

Check also yallo, they have cheap calls to abroad.

for international calls you can use rebtel, have a look at the website its really convenient and they all have an app for iphone

Well I noticed in CH mobile tarif are not so favorable as in other countries (T mobile for example) where you have lot of tarifs where two people can talk to each other free of charge, or where you buy mobile on agreement and pays monthly amount in which calls are included.

Here you have to pay monthly amount for the phone and for all calls to pay extra.

there are plenty of plans with free network calling. I have a Sunrise Flat Classic Surf subscription, for example, with unlimited calls to Swiss landlines and to other Sunrise customers for 40 Fr. per month. I also have 1gb of data included and free SMS for a year, although the latter was a promo

Orange gives you now 240 Minutes for 45.- (SIM-only) or 3000 Minutes for 80.- (SIM-only), valid within Switzerland and to

Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City State

Andorra, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States

Albania, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegoyina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hong Kong, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Palestinian National Authority, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine

Also they have several travel options, although I think it's best to just have a prepaid SIM in every country...

I signed up for an international calling service. It works something like a phone card where you dial an access number and enter the phone number. My rate for international calling is around 0.03 chf from my landline and like 0.12 chf from my mobile. I seriously spend most my day on the phone and my monthly bill is like 30 chf. In addition they offer a deal where if you spend 30 chf they give you 20 chf free in local calls. I have free local swisscom calls within my network anyhow so i didn't take that plan. I'd highly recommend them. Gonna look up the name now.

i use prepaid lebara for int calls. 0.19 per minute for pakistan mobile or landline.. dont remember ever having a problem with signal. also with 50 chf topup u get 20 chf extra.

I found the website of the company i recommended: www.10787.ch

I'm sure they are cheaper than phone cards. Also we haven't had any trouble with them so far.

I've been using Yallo for the last 3.5 years & very happy with it! Calling abroad is very cheap & they don't trick you like other companies that seem cheaper.

Yallo charges for the seconds, it means that if you speak 2 minutes and 1 second you pay for 2 minutes and 1 second but most of the prepay call-abroad companies charge per minute and if you speak 2 minuted and 1 second you end up paying for 3 minutes!

Calls are charged by the minute.

M-Budget Mobile charges by the second (after the 10. second).

Sorry for the wrong info! I checked my call history on Yallo, actually until mid July they were charging by second, but now I realized that after July 15th they started to charge by minute

Holy crap, 28r per minute to mobiles, thats awesome. Can't see any data prices though per MB... do they use Swisscoms network?

Mobile phone tarifs change nearly every month as each provider tries to get the biggest share. Comparis will show you the best deal for today !

Yes, Migros M-Budget uses the Swisscom network and is a good prepaid, no-fuzz offer (except if you intend to use it a lot for active roaming aborad). The big drawback is that they do not propose an answering machine - not even as an option!

Coop Prix Garantie does so for about the same rates and also offers a (rather) interesting data plan (100 Mo for 10 CHF per month). They use the orange network and it works fine (Geneva and even miles into neighbouring France).

Migros prepaid looks very good, but I can't seem to find their data prices either. Does the pre-paid not do data?

They have data prices on their subsricptions.

the cheapest way is to get data connection with your smartphone by using VOIP over 3G or WIFI.

www.xeloq.com is the VOIP provider, cheap and high quality

I love yallo pre-paid if you are calling from Switzerland. They just reduced their prices on international. And, yallo to yallo is 5rpn and they often have promotions where it becomes free for 6 months or so. I have never paid so little for my mobile.

Love it!

Yes, I have just dicovered Organge tarif Orange me unlimited calls (Swiss and to Europe), unlimited SMS and 1 GB free for internet for 120 Fr a month. You can get Iphone 4 if you pay additional 60 Fr just one time.
