Is there an optimum time of the year at which I should change my expected yearly income in « les acomptes » ? My income situation has changed and I would like to change the amount in the monthly installments that I pay towards my taxes.
I live in Vaud and have a C permit. Unless I missed it, I didn’t see an answer on Vaud’s website. It just says that I can change them at any time. https://www.vd.ch/themes/etat-droit-…er-mes-impots/

The "acomptes" are simply to avoid really nasty surprises when you get you final taxation. You can change them at any time that suits you, and the tax authorities will adjust the acomptes for the rest of the year.
It's helpful when you have major changes in revenue during the year. It happened to me when I retired. I knew my income would go down, but my taxes likely increase, ran a simulation (using the taxation software) and submitted the estimated taxation to the tax office, which adjusted my acomptes.
