Best value for money chocolate

Another vote for Laederach, anything else you can buy in other countries out side Switzerland. Laederach cornflakes chocolate...... Mmmmmmmm.

The also sell assorted chocolates in 1kg box. I re-pack them into small gift bags for relatives.

I usually bring Ragusa Noir to my family back home, always love it. You could find it in Coop and Migros

I would go to the chocolate factory shop of Lindt (Kilchberg or at the outlets at Landquart) and you can get bags of the rejects quite cheap. Cheaper than a box of chocolates. Obviously not for gifts but are good to bring to kids and friends who are visiting.

The lindt chocolate factory store in Kilchberg also sells bars of chocolate which have a sticker saying damaged or something like that. They are usually half priced. I have bought them many times and did not find any fault. If you go after Christmas / Easter, there will be special after-season chocolates for sale.

Omgomgomg... Shocked nobody had mentioned ovomaltine noir and any other product under that label #1. It's my fan fav for all trips around the world

I read in a Medical (Alternative) Newsletter where a suggestion that

100% cocoa powder added to coconut milk and sweetened with Stevia

would be the best for those who use it medically.

Hmm I think I may have to do a Swiss chocolate tour to sample all these factory shops mentioned here :-)
