Boring Basel? (I hope not!)

Yes, lovely Basel.

There is so much left to do - exhibition in Beyeler Foundation; Tingerley Museum, going skiing on weekends; inline-skating. Swimming in the hot spa pools in Schwartzwald.

And then there are stand-up comedy nights; theaters; concerts. Fantastic restaurants in Alsace. Colmar, Riquerwihr, etc - wine route of Alsace; Castles in Germany and France.

Shopping

wall-climbing

going to St.Louis on Saturday's farmer market

going out with expats...

brunches...

...and I have only one weekend per week...

You must have the metabolism of a hummingbird.

Like the sarcasm, Basel is great in the summer with the cafe's and bars, sitting out and watching the world go by but it is really boring on Sunday's. Nowhere to go but other parts of Switzerland and of course France and the Schwarzwald

Oh, dear, is this a compliment? Or swiftly crafted teasing? how do I react now?

Thanks, i guess...
