Building Construction Average Time

Hi,

In front of my building they started to construct a new building (I guess normal 4-5 floors building I guess to be similar to the neighbouring ones in the same block). I'm wondering how long on average does it take to finish constructing such a building from scratch in Zurich?

(I'm asking for 2 reasons: hoping the noise would finish not so long in the future and also like the place and might be interested to move there)

Check the building site. Normally there is a sign who works there and when they plan to finish. Or google the planning site.

Yeah unfortunately, there is yet 0 sign on the site although they started since the beginning of the year and already made quite a progress.

There are two websites which may help you to identify the construction company, both listings of building projects announcements - for canton Zurich https://www.amtsblatt.zh.ch/#!/search/publications and for city of Zurich https://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/portal/...amtsblatt.html . There is a search function at the bottom of the page, in field "Rubrik" you will need to enter "10 Bauprojekte". I believe the archive goes back a year, for older projects you can request an appointment to visit archive under https://www.etermin.net/afb-termine .
