A friend is currently working on an initiative around improving the emotional well-being & mental health of teaching staff & third culture kids in the international school environment. Whilst plenty of existing studies and research have already given them some good foundation - they would like to challenge their assumptions and your insights as a current or former teacher at an international school here in Switzerland would be incredibly helpful to them. The call with one of the two founders should take no more than 20 minutes.
Please feel free to reach out via PM if this is of interest.
My Japanese, American, Irish kid who’s grown up in Indonesia, Japan, and now Switzerland, but self identifies as a New Yorker when pushed on “Where are you from?”.
One of the co-founders is a TCK and the State Schools were the initial first entry point. However, the guy in charge of the curriculum for the canton told them it's the not the school's job to teach kids resilience et al. Lots more reasons but ultimately time to market as this issue needs to be tackled now. If you have further questions on this am happy to introduce you to one of the founders.
Thanks to all those who reached out - you know who you are! They were able to solicit some really great feedback ahead of launch early next year. Much appreciated!
If anyone else is interested in talking with them please feel free to PM me.
