Can I start working before the visa is officially issued?

I am a non-EU, who just got a job in Zug recently. The company recently managed to get the visa application approved by canton and SEM.

Since I live in Zurich, the company asked me to bring the 'Verfügung' to the commune office for issuing the visa.

On this Verfügung, it was written:

Gültige Anwesenheitsbewilligung im Wohnkanton.

Umwandlung der bestehenden Bewilligung B zum Studium in Bewilligung B zur

Erwerbstätigkeit gern. Verfügung SEM vom 22.03.2023.

Der Ausweis wird durch den Wohnkanton ausgestellt.

Gültig vom / ab 01.04.2023 30.03.2024

Here I have two questions:

(1) Based this Verfügung, can I say my visa is offcially approved but just not yet issued?

(2) My working contract starts from the beginning of April. After handing the Verfügung to the commune office, I need to wait for at least few days or even weeks to get 'physical card' of my visa. Before I have it, can I start to work in the beginning of April already? Or I need to wait until I receive it?

It's a residence permit, not a visa (visa is for entry in the country, residence permit is, well, to reside).

But yes, that means your permit is approved and you can start working. Once you go to the Gemeinde and register (you need to first deregister from your current Gemeinde before you can do that), you can start working. The physical permit can take several weeks or months to arrive.
