No. And not even one of these ...

lighters are fine. I always love it when the ones that dont know yet come up and ask for a lighter....tell them it is allowed now and they fall over in amazement.......
well..... guess I've been lucky... I've carried Christmas crackers and Christmas pudding in my luggage ( and the Christmas pudding mrs. G's mum used to make should have been classified as high explosive )
Why didn't you say so?
What you need is
hth
actually it was usually more a case of..
p.s.. the high explosive comment above was in regards to the alcohol level in her puddings... she would make the pudding in October and then "feed" it a little bit of whiskey every week ( a little whiskey for the pud.. a little for her.. God Rest her )
With you as her son in law, I can imagine that she needed all the liquor she could get her hands on.
Cigarette lighter is allowed ... but ... only ONE. And it must be carried on your person. I guess that`s because if it decides to explode it will take your body out first thereby containing the explosion?
I got a metal knife in cattle class.
Amazing. I even got a metal fork!
Also flew with the rest of the cows and bulls this summer, with Edelweise, and was surprised to get a metal knife and fork.
Maybe it's crazy of me, but airplane "food" seems to taste better with metal cutlery. Almost as good as real food!
*smiling that little smile that you smile when you see a slightly demented person still able to cope in the "real" world*
yes son.

Mrs. G moved the mirror again?
Not any more they are now permitted!
You can't put them in hold luggage incase the explode due to heat when the bags are on the runway waiting to be loaded onto the aircraft!
