After seeing many ads for carVertical I wonder if anyone used them to check a swiss vehicle and how accurate the report was? Online reviews are very mixed and I still haven't seen one that comes from Switzerland.

Are there any swiss alternatives that possibly would produce full vehicle history report?
I do not think you can get more history than what a VIN decoder will show.
Ownership records is not public, as there simply is no ownership record at all. Registered holder is not public. (And would need Swiss Stammnummer) Service and maintenance records are often also not public.
An alternative which is much better is the TCS Occasion Test .
Ask the dealer. they can provide service history.
Or, as ASinUS wrote, do the TCS test.
I wouldn't spend any money on a service like carvertical.
All Land Rover cars have publicly accessible service records.
You put a VIN and it will tell you when it had regular maintenance performed and at which location.
Was pretty useful part of my decision making process a few months back.
Otherwise, some brands also offer this functionality in the car itself (BMW for example). You dig into the menus and you can see what is the maintenance done at which dates, and what is the next one expected/scheduled.
Carvertical I would not expect to be very useful for Switzerland, for the reasons mentioned above. If the MFK reports were made public (like MOT in the UK) then it could be something, but as the information landscape currently stands I don't think services like this or carfax really fly.
In my home country, it's considered a crap app, specially since we are experts on turning back time.
But funny story would be that, we bought a car from DE, which was exported from CH. I used car vertical on it.
Most of the report was rubbish, but I could see the service entries and compared them with what was written in the car's book.
So, car vertical saw an extra entry vs. the book, but no other details.
In the end we bought the car, and my mechanic found out for what it was in the shop. But other than that, I would say to skip the car vertical thing. If you really find a good car and it does not sell in 2 days, then would be better to get a mechanic to check it out --> or at least have a good OBDII tester with you (since I presume you are searching for the MFK recently done)
A colleague told me a "fun" story of a girl buying a used BMW, with "some" warranty, and after let's say 1k KM her whole distribution kit (timing chain) broke and had a shit show with the whole engine --> off course the warranty did not cover engine damage --> so if possible, I would strongly recommend to buy from a legit garage who offers at least 1 month of engine guarantee
