Cheapest coffee in Zurich

It's CHF1.10 a go based on two cups of Rwandan made in an Aeropress a day, if you go to the effort of purchasing the coffee and an Aeropress and making the glorious, roasted berry drink yourself.

I follow President Trump's example and use a french press (cafetiere). It tastes great, best coffee I ever had. Just great. And the Mexican's pay for it. It's also cheap at high usage... despite the constant negative press covfefe.

McDonalds

Tschibo - another option

Regular coffee or Espresso at Coop restaurants are below CHF 3 IIRC.

You miss the point.

Here in central Europe it's not just about the coffee, there's the sitting down for a good gossip, watching the world go by and the nearness of cake.

Go to Austria, there it have been developed into a high art form.
