Cheapest tyre change garage in VD/VS ?

Need to unmount/mount my winter/summer tyres and wondering if anyone has a garage to suggest in VD/VS that won't cost me an arm and a leg?

Regards,

- Josh

Depending if you have the tyre on the rim or not the price will generally speaking not go below CHF 50-60 for a bi-annual change.

Cheapest is to get your own jack, and mount your tyres yourself. Make sure to check if they are balanced, installed in the correct direction, have enough grip left for the coming season. If not, you need to need order new ones and delivered, perhaps get your own tyres changing machine and balancer. Perhaps you have also space to store all this and the tyres. Oh yes, it cost money to dispose old tyres as well. Anyways, myself I rather pay for someone to perform this service for me.

How much is your arm and leg?

I used a number of times Garage Rumine in Lausanne for my tyre needs, highly recommended...

AND the bolts are torqued correctly.

Just have a look at you tube for tires coming off.

I use these guys. Garages in Nyon and Préverenges

Book online, they know what they are doing and do it quickly.

However they ‘offer’ nitrogen for inflation which adds absolutely zero benefit. Storage also offered, but a little pricey. They don’t push too hard.

Well, down here it's hard to find any garage going below 120 (for tyres requiring installation on same wheels). So cheap would be in the 100 to 110 range.

Wow.....all this to savs Chf 10.--

Not sure how you consider saving on costs mate but a 10-20% discount on maintenance is not bad. Twice a year for two cars. Maybe this forum is for upper class people only.

No, it does not.

80 bucks total in VD without rims (Garage Nastasi in Aigle).

Don't forget to count the cost of your time dicking around, too.....

Perhaps that’s why he’s asking us to do the dicking around for him?
