It feels somehow wrong that just because my mother was Swiss instead of my father I have to jump through all sorts of hoops to get my citizenship :/
And even more wrong that if I had been born in the same cirumstances just a decade later I would have got it automatically.
Just venting. Looks like I may never be able to get it unless I actually move there, and even then noone can quite tell me how long it would take. It "looks" like I can apply for it after living in Switzerland for 3 years.
Moving there with citizenship is almost certainly much much easier than moving there without citizenship and having to wait three plus years to get it.
