Chilled salad fork

May I remind everyone that this is the same EF member who builds an intricate toilet paper tower on the toilet seat before using a public lavatory.

Yes, so why isn't this thread in daily life too?

I self-moderated.

No idea about your cow-orkers, but as others have said, it's you that's weird. How long do you think your nice chilled fork stays that way once you start using it anyway?

Since you think so much about forks, I'm sharing this as a public service. I'll be waiting for your next post on what your co-workers think of you using it, LiB.

No-one in my house even WANTS salad in this cold weather! Never mind serving it with chilled forks!

But tonight I will try to off-load the previously unwanted half punnet of veldsalat WITH pre-chilled forks, and see what the reactions are. Should be interesting. Maybe a whole new dimension of Life awaits us?

I'll eagerly await your feedback.

Forking hell!

That you thought this might go differently is in itself worrying.

;-)

Do you also deep-fry your fingers when eating "freedom" fries?

No silly, I douse them in freedom.

Do you preheat your coffee and teaspoons as well?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Well, not really.

Wasn't there some bloke on here who used to pre-heat their gym clothes on the hand-drier before putting them on?

From now on, I will ask for a caraffe of ice whenever I dine out. I now realise that it is an essential for anyone of good breeding. Fellow diners will be impressed with my understanding of ettiquette as I pause to dip my salad fork into the ice between mouthfulls.

But should I also ask for a flask of hot water to keep my soup spoon warm between slurps?

And should they be placed on the left of the plate, or the right?
