I have a very peculiar situation..
The company my husband worked registered in Friburg canton has bankrupted, there is a law suit against them, including my husband's case. He was not paid for the last 2 months also the notice period. However, also never received a salary certificate for the period he worked in 2022. Now upon declaring taxes as I am a major contributor, Vaud canton where we live are requesting salary certificate. Ex employer is not responding to the emails and not picking up a phone as well.
Has anyone experienced such situations? Or should I start looking for a lawyer and start legal procedures personally as our household taxes will be impacted by this reckless behaviour.. Thank you for the advices.
