I need to supply some documents to the authorities so they can process my Kantonswechsel. The things they want, I know how to get:
Extract from the debt register (Betreibungsregisterauszug) Copy of work contract and last 3 payslips Copy of rental contract for my residence
What I don't know how to get / haven't done before:
Confirmation from the social offices from my Wohngemeinden from the last 3 years, of the duration and amount of social help I received; also this confirmation is needed when no social help was received
I guess I have two questions actually:
For the debt register extract, they also want from my Wohngemeinden for the last 3 years. Normally I just go to the Post counter and order this in person. Can I order for multiple Gemeinden at the same time this way? And I guess I have to pay 35chf x # of Gemeinden or something? Where to get this confirmation from the social authorities? I searched online and see no pre-made form for this. But it must be a relatively common thing, no? If I have to write or call is there something specific I should ask for?
From what I know, you have to go to the local town hall (Gemeinde) to get these documents.
Ours has some of these things online now, whereas in the past you always had to go to the office. Basically we just had to find the right part of their website to request the forms... and it's quite likely the same office (debt office).
I have also lived in other Gemeinden in the past 3 years; I will just call them or ask them directly if they can do it by email. The ZH form just has DOB and name/address etc so maybe that's all the info they need and will just send it by post.
