Earlier this month I returned to Switzerland, vaccinated & boosted with a negative PCR Test taken less than 72 hours prior to arrival.
Submitted the Einreiseformular/Entry Form less than 48 Hours prior to arrival.
I received a text to say that it was necessary to submit another test between days 4 & 7.
I assumed that it was a re-statement of the BAG/ FOPH rules for unvaccinated people, so took no action, since I had complied with the rules for vaccinated people:

My assumption that the text was generic and would only apply to un-vaccinated travelers, was apparently incorrect and I have received a letter and a fine from the Police!
I vaguely remember another member posting a similar experience, but I cannot find the thread :/ Does anybody have any insights?

My email said that the day 4-7 test is only necessary for the unvaccinated.
Did you upload your vaccination certificate for the Einreiseanmeldung? If not, that might have caused it.
Now that you mention it, it is possible that on at least one form, I only had to attest to the fact that I was vaccinated, but was not required to submit the covid certificate.
I just figured it out from the Kanton Zürich Website:

I think if you write a letter to the authorities and show you were vaccinated at the time, mostly I've found the Swiss fairly reasonable on issues like this. You wern't breaking the rule, but you seemed to have not followed the correct paperwork protocol
The SMS you received must have had a personalized reference code needed to upload the proof of testing. I went through the process last week.
BTW how much is the fine?
The fine was chf 200. Which is a pain, but I am mostly mad that I had studied the Federal regulations and still got it wrong.
Also, the regulation on the Swiss.com English website had an error (and as of today, its still wrong) which made me lose faith and go back to the Federal Website: https://www.swiss.com/ch/en/customer...y-switzerland:
"In addition, passengers who are fully vaccinated or recovered from Covid entering Switzerland must be tested again between the fourth and seventh day after entry. All tests results must be reported to the canton." They forgot the ' NOT ' (...fully vaccinated).

"Zusätzlich müssen sich eingereiste Personen,die nicht vollständig geimpft oder genesen sind, zwischen dem vierten und siebten Tag nach der Einreise nochmals testen lassen. Alle Testresultate müssen dem Kanton gemeldet werden."
I assumed that the Entry Form/Einreiseformular was the report to the Canton. Anyway, I got it wrong. Hopefully someone else can be helped by this & will respond to their text from the Kanton.
As per previous posts. I received both the SMS or email, on reading it I saw that I was asked to submit my vaccination documents. If you missed it I'm not sure how much it will help to show them now. Good luck all the same.
At least that will be scrapped as per January 22. What‘s the use of checking passengers who do not get a boarding card unless the documentation is there snd then letting thousands more crossing the border by car with only minimal checks.....
Maybe this is an instance where the canton had in place a more strict rule than the confederation? When we arrived back at the end of December, the federal rules said no test required between days 4-7 if you're fully vaxxed. We also never received an SMS or email telling us to upload any certificates. Canton Bern.
