Is it possible to get cranberry sauce anywhere in Switzerland? Britshop don't have it.
Not sure if it is what you are looking for but I have seen preiselbeeren as some sort of compote.
It's the easiest thing to make. Frozen cranberries and some sugar and boil hard for 20 mins or so. (there are precise recipes out there also). You can also play around with adding some spices or even alcohol late on, depending on what you want to use it with.

Jim has had a shop around Geneva for over 20 years. He’s now located in Gland. Before the shop Jim worked for the UN as one of the gate security people. Despite being Irish he is a very nice person.
It's great - He doesn't have a minimum order and postage is reasonable too. Wish I lived closer so I could get some bacon and sausages.
He’ll post those too but the express overnight shipping service is a tad pricey.
And there was something about having to return the cool box, which I didn't really understand.
You stuff comes in a Styrofoam box with cooling packs. You also get a return postage label. All you need do is to take your stuff, reseal the box and a-fix the return label. Then take to any post office and they will send it back.
The cool box comes with a return label and the post man takes it back or you drop ît at the post office and when they receive it they return your deposit.
I’ve only used it a couple of times for something really special.
Edit: Bowlie was faster. I didn’t reseal the box and don’t remember cool packs either.
+1 for this. If you want to use less table sugar, add a bit of orange juice instead. I make my homemade cranberry sauce this way. Tip: some of the cranberries pop rather spectacularly. Use a deeper pan than you think you need or you'll have sticky stuff all over the hob.
