The problematic part is that OP compares with 3% margin in Canada. OP knew that all along but decided to string everybody along without revealing this data point.
That’s how you put people off and keep questions from being answered going forward - keep pertinent data to yourself you knew all along, and don’t publish them until the end.

I disagree with your conclusion. Yes, in hindsight it’s always clear what the most relevant information would have been. But the world, and this forum, is not always perfect, and that’s ok (at least for me).

Don’t most ATM’s at biggish branches have at least one machine stocked with 1k notes? It’s where I get mine.

I‘ve got them from machines here so they certainly exist.
ZKB (Zürcher Kantonalbank) has them on most of their ATMs that are inside their banks.
