Great thread, just what I needed -- however I have walked away with the opposite decision :-) We also had a comfortable professional life in NZ but moved to London a year ago -- which was a great experience - and now we find ourselves on the cusp of moving again.
I have just now received the offer and I think that I will make the move with my recently pregnant wife and 3 year old son. Its a little terrifying but (hopefully) an adventure.
