It's not scientifically proven (the Alzheimer-connection).
However, because my DeoDry is almost empty and I got a "normal" deodorant for Christmas, I tried it out.
It's way to "intensive" for me nowadays.
I liked and like the non-intrusive fragrance of the aluminium-free deodorant.
How you smell is IMO a large part based on what you eat.
E.g. when I eat beef, I can smell that for a few days.
All those fragrances and deodorants, they are really chemical products nowadays - "natural" ingredients wouldn't be powerful enough to cover-up our smell ;-)
Recommending reading paragraph till the end. Basically, there MAY be SLIGHTLY increased risk, but since it's most abundant metal in earth's crust, lifetime exposure of average person is already substantial.
If you want to be objective, usual lifespan is not long enough to worry appropriately about everything similarly dangerous around us. Some people try hard, though
I've still got some left but decided to buy one because I was near the HB.
The Bahnhofstrasse-shop didn't have any anymore but they phoned SihlCity and they had a couple of bottles left.
I was tempted to buy all of them, but I only bought one and hope they'll sell something else in a while.
It's really staggering to see how much products the introduce and discontinue.
I'd be happy to use the same three or four products my whole life - but I'm forced to switch because of idiot product managers who have to defend their existence ;-)
Our pharmacies carry quite a few non alu deos, La Roche-Posay, Vichy, then Nivea Fresh and Pure, Adidas makes one, too, and Weleda, etc. I often use quite good non alu organic Nuxe (cedar), they make one for guys, too.
