I have some cash in GBP and would like to deposit it into a UK bank. Is there a way an easy way to do this in Switzerland without a fee and going back the UK?
I doubt that any of the UK banks in Switzerland will accept cash.
As always it depends how much cash and how you came by it. 100 quid left over from holidays? Or 100,000 you got in a brown envelope from a bloke on a street corner?
If a bank here will accept the cash for onward transfer, be prepared to have to explain in detail how you got it - and provide proof.
In the end, it may just be easier to exchange and take the currency fee/losses on the chin.

Even if they do do that, they will rape you on charges !!
As Eric said, all depends how much really, find somebody who wants cash GBP's and has a UK account with sufficient GBP's in it, maybe somebody moving back or buying a house ?
