Dishwasher Help Needed Please!

The oven was VZug and was called a Microbraun. I almost bought a microwave.

Info here:

http://www.vzug.ch/v-zug/internet.ns...lp_bo_eng_copy

The dishwasher can be immediately run with a full load, if you so wish.

I do have some pots that specifically say to put them in the dishwasher only if the dishwasher has completed at least one full cycle after the salt has been added.

(Similar warning here , if anyone's interested. Same brand.)

Recently I found that the V Zug website offers the option to download manuals in English. [/QUOTE]

Hi Mrs DooLittle

I am having trouble finding the manuals in English on the V Zug website - if possible can you please steer me in the correct direction.

Thank you

Here's the link

(I searched using google.co.uk and it took me straight there).

As an aside, when we had our kitchen fitted, the fitters located all the applicance manuals in english, printed them out and put them in a folder for us along with the G/F/I ones that came with the machines - fantastic service).

Hi, I just moved into an apartment with a brand new ZUG Adora N, never used.

For the very first use I was told to fill the Salz compartment with 1kg of Reo Salt and 1,5 litre of water and run it with a detergent tablet on the Intensive program. After starting (I hear noises) 2 mins later: Beep Beep, Beep Beep until I open it and cancel the program. The salt is there. The tablet is there. I keep optimistically repeating this process: same result.

On the website of Zug I can see the model for sale but no manual but I suspect they all share common aspects. No mention of beep

Any ideas ?

To be honest I don't like these Zug products because of the control interface. I've seen the same on their washing machines. Not really intuitive.

The beeps normally indicate a problem. If you open the door after the beeps, the display should show a code. These codes are displayed in the manuals in the link. The code tells you what is wrong.

It's a waste of time trying to diagnose without the code.

Reply with the code and we'll see if we can help further

Thanks Tom1234 but this unit has no display. There are two buttons (cycle the programs, and stop program) with 7 LEDs indicting the program.

I am codeless

Phone the agent tomorrow, and get them to sort it.

Here's the manual you want, in Englsh : Adora N

Look at the trouble shooting section .

Of course, you could just call the agent but if, as you say, you've just moved in and the dishwasher is new, it could be something as simple as the external water tap (usually accessible from under the sink) needs turning on.

Oh man-oh-man ......... it sounds like it is working . I can hear liquid moving around inside. And it ain't beeping!!

Or should I type "emitting an acoustic signal" in Zug-speak. Ahhh ... I had been Googling the model with "beep", beeping, sound, noise, alert, alarm. ..... missed this one.

Solution? ok, bit embarrassing. Took your advice, removed the panels under the sink, found a wheel attached to pipe (can you see household management isn't my strength !), twisted it. And tried the dishwasher again.

Leaving the dream !

I'm printing the manual in the morning.

There should be a button for super-Thanks when your input is appreciated more than a run of the mill Thanks click.

regards

SG

Great. Is everything OK with toilet flushing??

I will have to stay up till 07:00 to find out. Flushing now wouldn't help my assimilation efforts

You have definitely sown a seed of doubt though !

Quite often when you move into a new place the tap is not turned on for the diswasher or the washing machine so it is an easy mistake to make. It is very frustrating as the power goes on and you think everything is okay. If only the dishwasher had a clear door like a lot of washing machines you would see there is no water.

Wow, just think all those litle bits of carrots and green bits turning around in a sea of gungy water.............

Why does this remind me of Friday night in Liverpool ?

Hello everyone:

I run into this post when trying to find out online if there is an English manual instructions for the a-zug Adora N dishwasher.

I was hoping someone who was able to download the English instructions at the time would share the document with me. I just moved to a new apartment, and I am having problems with the dishwasher. The first few washes it worked fine and now it begins the cycle and in the middle of it, it stops and I only see flashing lights. I was hoping to try to figure out by myself what the problem might be, but my German is not gut enough to read and understand the manual i have for it.

Unfortunately, the link for the English manual was removed and I have been unable to find it anywhere. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you!!!

It might have run out of the liquid used in the last rinse, or it might have run out of salt. Somewhere there's a thread about it on here.

Is one of the flashing lights flashing next to an " S "..? If yes, you're out of salt ( Regeneriersalz ).

I have the same model. It's quite a simple machine really. If you haven't already done so, do check your filter for gunk and give it a good clean, also, check all the washing arms and make sure nothing is blocking them.

If you have done those, as well as filling the salt and rinsing agent, then I have to say, it sounds like a call to your landlord/lady to organise a repairmain.

Mine has broken down twice in the three years I have been living here, the first time it reacted exactly the same as what you are experiencing. It turned out to be the "Rechner" or computer, that had a malfunction.

The second time it was a problem with the motor. Fortunately both times my rental agency covered the cost of repair as it was not due to mis-use.

If you have any questions about the manual instructions just send me a private message and I should be able to help you.

How annoying for you that the English manual is no longer available, I only have the German one, but it's all just very basic stuff in there, so you probably wouldn't gain much by having the English version.

Edited to Add: After making sure there are no blockages etc, you coult try resetting it by turning the power off to it for about a minute then restart the wash programme.

Best of luck.

Dishwashers don't stop mid-way through a cycle just because they've run out of rinse aid or salt. In fact, you can even start a new cycle ignoring the warnings - perfectly acceptable if you're not in a very hard water area and you've bought some trendy powder capsule which contains extra salt and rise aid (and you're too lazy to reprogram the machine to stop beeping).

If the dishwasher stops mid way through, either the arms (the bits that spin around inside) are blocked and no water can come out or ...

Most likely cause is that the dirty water can't drain (quick enough). That means unscrewing the filter thing in the bottom and cleaning it. They're often quite manky. Or, the drain hose is kinked or not installed properly.

Both the above should not happen in an apartment you've just moved in to. Call the letting agency/landlord.

I agree with you
