DL exchange eye exam

Hello,

I'll be moving to Zurich from the us in a couple of months. Would I be able to exchange my DL for a swiss one without taking the driving test even if the eye exam comes back negative on one eye?

I have amblyopia in my right eye, but I've been driving here for 20 years without problem.

There's only one way to find out for sure. But the rules are I believe that one eye must have a visual acuity of at least 50%.

Where in the US? As I recall, not all states have reciprocity agreements in place.

In the US? No idea. I'm talking about Switzerland. (assuming reciprocity is in palce).

The official answer seems to be "no" regardless of eye condition:

I could find no official documents regarding eye requirements.

I asked the eye doc a few months ago when I had my eyes checked. She said 60% in one eye is the minimum.
