Do I say anything about my dental cleaning experience?

Yesterday I went for a dental cleaning, and the hygienist did something that seemed a bit sloppy for a cleaning. During the scaling portion, to clean one of the tools, she wiped the tool on her shirt (she wasn't wearing scrubs, but some sort of wrap apron, presumably part of a uniform). This was in between use, so the "cleaned" tool ended up in my mouth again.

I have not ever seen a hygienist do this and it doesn't seem particularly hygienic. Is it out of line to say something to the clinic or am I being a germaphobe?

It is not unreasonable to make a complaint if the garment she wiped it on was not a disposable apron.
