I can't have the doorbell ring, as the sound can trigger a seizure in Robin Goodfellow.
For years I've had a note on the door to please text rather than ring or knock, another note actually blocking the doorbell - but there are always people who cannot /will not text and ring anyway.
For a while I had disconnected the doorbell, but that is less than satisfactory, as the person at the door simply keeps at it, getting frustrated.
So... I vaguely remember hearing about some kind of doorbell that sends you a text rather than rings. Do any of you know what product this is, and where I could find one in Switzerland? And most importantly, is there really no sound?
