I had been living alone in my apartment until my brother moved-in. This is a temporary solution until he finds a new flat.
He has his room. We made a sublease and sent it to the landlord. Landlord confirmed that it's ok in written form. My brother registered the new address in the municipality (Zurich city) as the next step.
A couple of days later, we received letters from the Zurich municipality. He got the standard confirmation, and I got a notification that he was registered and that there is a Drittmeldepflicht.
Do you know if I sublet a room that I need to submit my new tenant to the municipality or over their website drittmeldung.ch?
