Drugs in USA. Demand and supply

Don’t blame Maduro or anyone else. Its the sick nature of society in USA that creates the demand.

Not just the USA. Apparently the cocaine levels in Geneva and Zürich sewage are some of the highest in the world.

Venezuela isn’t a remotely significant player in the coke market. Pretty well all production comes from Colombia, Peru and Bolivia. Strange then that the US is chasing Venezuela…I wonder why…

I only have met someone in Switzerland who has been open about cocaine. The last person you’d imagine. Physical job, but still living life as when young, night clubs, drug culture, all that.

I’d look at men of a certain age, some libertarian ideas, if they love to be contrarians just for fun, or some pride in earning all they got in life, let’s celebrate!. Maybe there are women doing the same, but I have not met one here in CH yet.

Wait until his heart gives out…

Yes, serious risk.

Also a complicate topic. Society still no ready to openly talk about the those deaths of 50-65 YO men. Respect, privacy, no defamation, come on! Everyone knows how Mr. X lived his life.

Trump is using that as an excuse to bomb the land and get rid of Maduro. Typical lies of the USA.

Bankers and Google employees.

Guys in dealing rooms were doing cocaine when I worked in the City back in the 80s. Their bosses used to get it for them. The floor of the bank above the one I worked on was a dealing room, their guys used to come down the fire exit stairs to use the loos on our floor. You’d see them going in there looking tired with a little leather washbag in their hand, 10 mins later they’d come out looking a bit “refreshed”. I also worked with executives who had drink problems and were burnt out by the time they were 30.

I was at a birthday party at a flat in West Hampstead about 25 years ago. At around 9pm a guy came to the door dressed in a suit and tie with an attaché case, he was the coke dealer. After he left some guests kept going to the bathroom, I assume to snort coke off the toilet cistern. The guy who was having the birthday party was known for using as he had an events company and worked long hours.

capitalism - supply and demand - wall street runs on coke. wall street can’t be tamed …

In venezuela, I think trump is after oil and to prevent/stop the chinese land bridge connecting the pacific to the atlantic.

They want to make sure that Venezuela stays under US influence.
Today the US closed Venezuelan airspace, I would say in preperation to move military force into the country.
…Which is ok if the US does it on Venezuela, but not Russia in Ukraine, what a contradictory world er live in.

Huge oil reserves that ExxonMobil wants to control, no doubt Donnie is on commission.

Venezuela is home to the largest known reserves of oil, estimated at 303 billion barrels (Bbbl) as of 2023 .

Or roughly 10 days of world consumption at the current rate.

More like ten years :squinting_face_with_tongue:

Venezuela is/was also a training ground for Hamas/Hezbollah. Apparently.

The boats are just a distraction - but let’s be honest: that cannot come as a surprise to anybody?

Meant to write 10 years.
