Difficult to judge the value of a car if your not sure how many miles it has done? no?
Just wondering how this works? I mean you have a car? It has two engines, one petrol, one electric. Does it measure how many km each engine does or does it simply count how many miles the car does, no mater which engine?
Ours just shows the mileage. Y0u can probably pick up that information on how many were done on petrol and how many electric but I have no idea, probably the board computer should have that information?
It measures the mileage of the car, not of the engine.
Mileage matters for the suspension, brakes and tires as much or more so than the engine.
Engines generally run with a few oil changes until something fun turns up, the other bits have steady wear over time.
Probably varies from one manufacturer to another. Therefore, it is a question that one must pose to the dealer of the vehicle in question.
On my all-electric Skoda Citigo the odometer shows the distance driven on that battery! There is a warning that replacing the battery will reset the odometer to zero!
