I impulse bought it last year and have used it perhaps 3 times, so I guess its not worth it but the benefits are pretty good.
Speedy boarding
Additional piece of hand luggage
Choice of premium e.g. 1st row seat
Priority security queue
If I don't have a trolley case then I actually prefer to be amongst the last on the plane. Its so much more relaxing to sit at the gate listening to music and reading a book until the last passenger has boarded.
Maybe there might be a business in hiring out kids.
When I had to travel VERY frequently in 2016/2017, to and from Zurich / Gatwick, the Plus card was a no brainer for me, because I like to have a window seat and get on and off the plane quickly. It also included the fast track passport control at Gatwick. Well worth it, but only as a very frequent flyer.
But it doesn’t include fast track security at Bristol.
For those wondering about the current cost, I just looked it up:
£215 or
€239 or
CHF 279
Nope, at the time (I don't know about now) it also didn't include Zurich but that didnt stop me from blagging my way through many many times.
Fast track security can save 45 minutes at Geneva Airport, I fly 24 + times a year so I think it's a huge bargain. You can also change to earlier flights on the day at the airport free.
I also got upgraded to flight club, so no charge for flight changes, saves a fortune for frequent fliers.
For those who don't want to hunt, here are some more links that might help:
List of benefits of the card: https://plus.easyjet.com/benefits.aspx
List of airports where you can fast-track through security (Geneva and Basel are both on the list): https://plus.easyjet.com/faqs.aspx?#fasttrack
I don't travel often enough to EasyJet destinations to make this worthwhile, but I can see where it could be handy if I did - particularly if the cost of the card was something I could expense as part of a business.
