We have no iidea how long we will be in Geneva - probably two years at a minimum - but we moved to Hiroshima for two years almost eight years ago - so anything is possible. On the other hand, as a retired teacher, I am very much of the mindset that school is more about kids socializing with each other than curriculum at her age, and learning a new language is easiest and quickest with immersion.
Understand all of the above, regarding the residence location. Thanks.

Thank you!!! All good to know. I was told that we needed a CDL to do anything... and it appears that I've been misled.
This course might interest you, even if you're arriving in Geneva later than this particular course's start date; presumably it's a recurring course.

If your wife is a diplomat, the likelihood of you guys moving after a few years is generally high. So although it may be possible that she might end up working in Geneva for 10 years, I wouldn't plan on this basis. Hence, I would definitely choose the international school route for your child - it's the safer option. I see lots of kids put into the local schools here, only to move after a few years.
