English afternoon care/activities for kids in Zug/Affoltern a. A. region

Hi All,

My son will start kindergarten next year, currently he is in a billingual KITA. At home we speak our own language with him but in the KITA he learnt German and English pretty well. I'd say English is his strongest at the moment out of all languages.

Next year he will be starting kindergarten in our village in the Affoltern a. A. region, and obviously his German will be super strong from then on. However for sure he will lose his English if he doesn't use it, so I am desperately looking for an English afternoon care (hort?) or some English language activity aimed for 4 year olds, since his kindergarten is every day only until noon. Us parents are 100% working near Zug so we will need to find afternoon care for him anywhere in the region between Affoltern a. A. and Zug.

Many thanks for any ideas or tips on how I could deal with this situation.

As you are not native speakers and he won't be exposed to German at home, his German will not be 'super strong', it will be average or more likely be below average. And as his academic success will depend on it, he should get as much exposure to it as possible.

He'll learn English at school and there will be plenty of time to pick it up later.
