I am looking for a family doctor that speaks english. Ideally in Oerlikon. Can somebody recommend me a GP? Any suggestions very much appreciated.

Can’t make a recommendation but can say that after 30+ years I haven’t found one here that couldn’t speak English. The secretariat not so good, but will be better in your part of Switzerland.
I have, there are plenty around here who don’t.
Lots of them do to a greater or lesser degree but there are still some who can’t say more than the odd word in English and certainly couldn’t carry out a consultation in English.
Among the doctors I have seen over the years here, ability - or more likely willingness - to consult in English has been the rare exception, not the norm. Whether a small GP practice or at the hospital, as a patient functional 'medical' German has been absolutely necessary.
Yes, some doctors may be happy to consult in English, but out my way it should never be assumed.
I think Monvia in Wallisellen has english speaking GP‘s. 3 minute train ride from Oerlikon.
