It`s the Möhlin-Jet. Be told.
Fair enough. Kathmandu is at 1,400m, so when it was -9° there in January three years ago, it must have been -59° at the summit of Mt Everest. Clearly, your scientifically rigorous method is pretty much as accurate as mine.
The coldest ever recorded on the summit is -41oC.
Kathmandu is too far away. You need to work from the temperature of the base camps.
Googling:
From here
I know. The Google works over here in Basel, too.
It works faster here too, as it's warmer.
Proof it's warmer in BS than ZH on average anyway AND there's less rainy days:
Thanks to the Möhlin-Jet
Wouldn't it work faster if it were cooler?
I mean people buy coolers for their PCs and not heaters.
The Zurich humidity, not to mention the depressed state of any human operator, slows things down.
We lived in Hirzel for 18 months and yes you get longer sunshine, but to my mind there are far more downsides of living there so dont do it! Very high taxes which are likely to increase, transport/traffic issues, long periods of snow which is great to visit but annoying to wake up to day after day, when spring has already long arrived at the lakeside im Horgen, poor schooling where locals are favoured and international kids are expected to walk age 4 in snow blizzards 2km to kindergarten and is heavily beaten up along the way, as there are only spots left at the main Kindergarten which is opposite our apartment for locals who wrote letters in exactly the right way and knew the school administrators well. Also there is a feeling in Hirzel that everyone knows each others business. If you like the small village environment and the sun then go for it, but otherwise good luck and keep looking! I have heard very good things about Aegeri, though it is a fair distance!
The clue's in the name!
I love that Möhlin-Jet; I've been dining-out on it ever since it was kindly added to my repertoire.
Höngg is good
