Does anyone know of any stores or products in Switzerland where I can purchase an etch remover for a marble coffee table? have some dull white marks on my table that I would like to remove.

Have you seen the product from Mellerud for marble? It is available in many stores. (Bau & Hobby, Jumbo etc). Here is a link with the product information.

Some might recommend "putzstein". I have used this for granit countertops. Not sure if it would work on marble.
Honed or polished finish? If you have just a few etched spots, try a specialised marble polishing paste. (And no, baking soda does not work--been there, done that.) Most OTC "pflege" products will not cure etching because they don't have the required abrasive action. The US product is made by M3 (not 3M, note), and the equivalent product in Europe is marmor schleifmittel. Rot/Weiss makes one. I haven't used it, but it's available on eBay.
Its polished, also tried the baking soda method and didnt work. I guess I need a special paste. I doubt if those basic marble cleaning products will work.
