They stopped me around 19h00 The guys being controlled around 14h00 were driving a VW Golf and something that looked like a Mazda hatchback
Haha. I live with an F1 fanatic so I watch that by default rather than choice.
Watched the Austria-France game last evening. Mostly boring. France still playing just enough to win
They didn’t even score the (only) winning goal. Austria should get a +1 goal difference.
They’re so boring, they do the same thing every tournament.
It seems all videos from matches are being blocked in youtube. But…we paid SERAFE some weeks ago, so let’s share some Euro 2024 videos released by SRF
Well, there is some artistry on that slight heel touch to put the ball in the right place. Then, the next touch to goal from a very uncomfortable position looks soooo easy. Extra feel-good points, the scorer is the guy who literally drop dead 3 years ago and was resuscitated in the field.
Funny, clicking on video I get message it can’t be played ‘here’ with a link to Youtube where it plays fine.
It’s called copyright.
Er, why was Axa blocked on youtube but I wasn’t? Was it the link?
You can watch the videos on the channels of the companies that own the rights to the videos (in this case SRF) but you can’t put in a link on your own website (or a forum) and watch it there.
I think the issue is the video I linked is embedded in the website swissforum.co.uk, emphasis on uk. Quite probably, videos uploaded by SRF are restricted to be viewed within Switzerland, so it works when you go to youtube while it’s blocked on the uk website.
Funny you mention that because I drove home on Sunday afternoon from Dietikon, and there were police stationed on every single highway bridge between Zurich and Zug. I’ve never seen this during any of the other Euro or World Cups.
That could have been down to the leaders’ summit at the Bürgenstock over the weekend, though.
Castro repeatedly stated that he does not know anything about Ukraine, so he is excused.
Thank you ShirleyNot
Well things look stormy for Switzerland and Scotland.
A severe weather warning has forced the cancellation of pre-match events ahead of Scotland’s next Euro 2024 match in Germany. Both official UEFA fan zones where matches are being shown on big screens are closed.A ferry service connecting the two fan sites on either side of the Rhine river has also stopped running.Heavy rain, hail and storm gusts are forecast ahead of Scotland’s second match of the tournament, against Switzerland, on Wednesday.
Unfair advantage for Scotland
If the hail gets deep enough the Swiss should prevail.
Great match Turkiye v Georgia (3:1)… and what a way to give away a goal in the final few minutes
