Facilitated Naturalisation - documents

Hi all,

I'm applying for Swiss Citizenship as a spouse of a Swiss citizen. I have lived in Switzerland for 8 years before marriage, been married for 10 years, and after a long sting abroad, been back for the last 3 years.

As I understand, I should have lived in Switzerland for 5 years in TOTAL, which I have. But when I look at the documents, they need 'Betreibungsregisterauszug' for the last 5 years . Does that mean I need to get it from the UK for the first two years?

Does anyone have experience with getting these documents from abroad and how difficult is it? Is it better to wait for 5 years in CH before applying?

Any advice is very much appreciated.

Thanks!

I got the documents from all the Gemeinde's I had lived in - figured I need to prove that I had those 5 years. It's only like 10 francs per Gemeinde (which was 3 for me). You don't need anything from the UK or any other country (apart from a birth certificate).

Thank you for sharing- but I don't have these documents for the last 5cosequetive years since I moved to CH 3 years back - so they don't need the consecutive years - just five years?

It doesn't say consecutive years, it says the last 5 years, which means (and is just not clearly worded) the last 5 years that you've been in Switzerland. For example, the last 3 years and the the previous 2 from your last stay.

I did not have 5 consecutive years residence and it was not problem, I just provided the documents for a total of 5 years.
